We have 36 signatures on the Slave Freedom Amendment. Keep up the good work.

I've been reading a lot of Gandhi the past few days. His approach seems to suggest that I need to go even lower in society in order to effectively fight the tyranny of the IRS. He says that it is immoral to have riches while Government is immoral. Perhaps, I still possess too much to fight with moral power.

Gandhi's spinning wheel is gaining interest to me. I need a mechanism to make a living and not allow for a slave tax upon me. I am looking at buying a spinning wheel to study it's characteristics. The spinning wheel is the symbol of India because it allowed the people to become independent of the British rulers.

I have contemplated a vow not to touch money or do commerce until we are free. We shall see. Gene.

We have a group of self professed followers of the Church of Satan attacking me as a presumed "liar," over and over. Well, I just got an e-mail from the author of a front page article on me last year who refuted their claim that they called her. Who is the liar now?

Please sign the Slave Freedom Amendment. We have 25 online, and I'm getting a bunch in person on the road. I'm in Jackson, Tennessee tonight.

I must say that I'm really at peace with dying over the tax issue. I have a place all picked out for a nice calm death in God's will, like Samson did. Remember Masada (sp?). Calm in the storm. Gene.

I spent Sunday in prayer and reading of The Essential Gandhi. His words on the death of his wife and his own desire to die rather than live a slave are great comfort to me. It is a wonder to me that he did not become a Christian.

My thoughts now move to eternity, as I see the end of my life in real sight before me. The IRS cannot be allowed to enslave me (I Cor. 7:23). Let us pray that the IRS has wisdom and love enough to respect Freedom's commanding need in every human heart.

The online Slave Freedom Amendment now has 13 signatures. Perhaps it will grow. Gene.

Gene here. Thanks for the kind words:

You are doing good work, Gene. Keep with it. Though
we have different methods, our goals and our means are
moral. To give them up would be to give up ourselves.

To quote Gandhi:

"He who cannot protect himself or his nearest and
dearest or their honor by non-violently facing death,
may and ought to do so by violently dealing with the
oppressor. He who can do neither of the two is a

May we never be a burden, Gene. You are prepared (and
have been) to a face death, non-violently, to advance
the truth and help motivate and inform the people.
While I would not choose that path, if faced with
oppression and direct aggresion by those whose goal is
to cause my subjugation, I will take as many of the
aggressors with me as I can.

Yours in liberty,
