Stay on them....wish I was there.
Hey Thurston, I need a driver. How 'bout it? Gene.
Also, we may be getting visits from Pat Robertson's CBN community. I've not seen this Virginia address before, and they are the only ones in that location in Virginia we have interacted with. The last thing I heard was from Tanya, the producer for Carl Wigglesworth's San Antonio Radio program on KTSA. She related to me that she called CBN and spoke with Dr. Pat Robertson's Media Relations Secretary, who told Tanya that, yes, Dr. Robertson was, indeed, supportive of my work. This was during the Austin Death Fast. Gene.
David, you may want to e-mail them some of the other stories on the TAX MARCH. All I have is dailyleader.com for you. Here you go, David: http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=65297&BRD=1377&PAG=461&dept_id=172930&rfi=6
Fred, you will want to keep up with this story to help them anyway we can. respectfully, Gene.
A few minutes later, I'm checking out up front, like we all do, and say to the girl checking my products, "It was either this or drag queen, and mamma said 'no' to drag queen." We both laughed ourselves dizzy. I have my moments of fun in all this stuff, folks. Gene.
The problem with that idea is it will shrink your base of support to the point where your voice will no longer be heard. Whenever you identify with a fringe element, which was my immediate reaction when I read the “communist” email, otherwise supportive Americans will close their ears to your message, because it causes them to question the validity of your main message. I’m afraid there are many who do not want your main message to be heard, to get out, or to be acted upon in any way. They could not have come up with a better way to diminish your message than the “communist” email you recently sent out. Frankly, I believe the people you have tagged as communists are as concerned about what’s gone wrong with this country as you are. They may view things from a different frame of reference, but that doesn’t mean they should be labeled as communists, especially when you consider the damage it does to your very valid main message. What have President Bush, his staff, his administration, and his party done to bring an answer to your question? From what I’ve seen, heard, and read, nothing at all. What does that tell you? What label would you apply to them? You don’t dare apply any label because if you do you’ll be branded as “unpatriotic, ad nauseum. Anyone, I hope you’ll rethink the course you’ve taken and get back on task and make a difference with the goal you set out to accomplish.
Reply, Good point. I'm rethinking it. repsectfully, Gene.

Has anyone heard about "The National Enquirer" interview, etc.?
Fred, be sure and keep Devvy Kid up to date on all our contacts for We The People Congress. We have the women in Louisiana, the man in Pineville, where my rv is now. We also have Richard Day in Natchez, Miss. All these are interested in joining WTP, two are county coordinator interested.
The one thing coordinators for WTP keep telling me is that they are given no instruction on what to do once they sign up. We need to get these people teaching materials, so they can have meetings and pass out fliers to promote their individual groups. I am happy to be used as a mechanism to build a meeting for any coordiantors, as I cross the states toward Washington D.C. Gene.
If you live or know someone who lives in Mississippi or Alabama, send them my way. We have an rv in Pineville, Louisiana that we can go get for them to drive behind me while I march. Doug Kenline picks up driving duties at the Alabama bordar with Georgia. David Marsh will handle Durham, North Carolina to the Washington D.C. area. Bernard Carman is to handle driving the rv from Greenville, South Carolina to Durham, North Carolina. It makes a great difference in the summer heat when the rv is available to go get cold drinks and get us to motel rooms at the end of the day. Sleeping up in the tree line off a highway is not as fun as it sounds, especially in a thunder and lightening storm.
Bernard and David are to have me speak to their respective Patriot/ We The People groups. I don't think I'm high profile enough to speak to Doug's group in Atlanta (ha ha). Hi Doug. Gene.
I do know we are getting new hits from groups that had not been following us in the past --FYI. Let's keep talking to each other and come to a consensus. I'm willing to change for Truth's sake. Let's all be open minded to new paths that may lead to a quick resolution to the TAX HONESTY MOVEMENT's concerns. My concern is that we may be fighting the tiger's tail (tax policy) when we should be looking the tiger in the eye (communism); or is it the other way around? Gene
What I see, as I look at all the Patriot movements in America vs. the Progressive Forum (etc.), is a force of Biblical light and liberty that is being challenged for a position of prominence by a cooersive force of darkness. I am reminded of old soldiers who sat me on their knee when I was too young to contemplate communism and liberty. I remember how the communist is the one who wants to take your gun away from you so he can impose the rule of the state over you when he decides you need to abort all but your first born child (ie. China). I am reminded how that Russia used a 'heavy progressive income tax' (2nd Plank of The Communist Manifesto) to redistribute wealth. I am reminded how communists work at all costs to build up the PUBLIC SCHOOL system so that the only view taught the children is the 'State is god' system. What I have a hard time finding is the position that proposes the Tax Honesty Movement is not a direct challenge to communism in America. Just the other day, Irwin Schiiff called the writer at the New York Times a, "socialist." A socialist is a communist, while still in the minority. When in the majority, the socialist becomes the abortionist, the gun control advocate, the murderer of non-socialist, the destroyer of the Church, private education and the family unit, the redistributor of wealth, and so on. I agree that the term communist is antiquated in the minds of many, but the Democtatic Socialist Party is still the Communist Force of Evil in our time. I go to Washington to confront these members of U. S. House of Representatives, for they represent all we in the tax honesty movement oppose -- communist ideology. respectfully, Gene Chapman
While they were making me three bologna and cheese sandwitches, I came across a man (Richard Ray) with his family. He was finishing up a vodeo game, while his wife picked up a few odds and ends for the workday they were to begin in a nearbye town. The wife showed him a copy of the news articles I'd left on the counter, and we became fast friends. He has had tax issues to the tune of $20 k, like myself. He has a ton of books on taxation, he told me. So he quickly offered to drive me to Bode, Mississippi, a town just 9 miles away where there might be a motel open.
Upon arrival in Bode, we found the only motel in town was closed. Richard quickly offered to take me all the way into Brookhaven. We spoke on tax policy in communism, and he agreed that what I was doing deserved to be supported. Well, he did suppot me with a ride to Brookhaven and a $20 bill wrapped inside a piece of paper that had his name and phone number on it. He will be talking to our folks about becoming a We The People Coordinator. Conclusion: I hope I never have to sleep in that tent on the side of the highway again, but I will do what Gad places before me to do no matter what it is. respectfully, Gene.

Pelosi leader of 'Progressive Caucus'
Dems' likely top House official part of powerful, socialist-linked bloc

© 2002 WorldNetDaily.com
Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., the likely new minority leader in the House of Representatives, serves on the executive committee of the socialist-leaning Progressive Caucus, a bloc of about 60 votes or nearly 30 percent of the minority vote in the lower chamber.
Until 1999, the website of the Progressive Caucus was hosted by the Democratic Socialists of America. Following an expose of the link between the two organizations in WorldNetDaily, the Progressive Caucus established its own website under the auspices of Congress. Another officer of the Progressive Caucus, and one of its guiding lights, is avowed socialist Rep. Bernie Sanders, the Vermont independent.
The Democratic Socialists of America's chief organizing goal is to work within the Democratic Party and remove the stigma attached to "socialism" in the eyes of most Americans.
"Stress our Democratic Party strategy and electoral work," explains an organizing document of the DSA. "The Democratic Party is something the public understands, and association with it takes the edge off. Stressing our Democratic Party work will establish some distance from the radical subculture and help integrate you to the milieu of the young liberals."
Nevertheless, the goal of the Democratic Socialists of America has never been deeply hidden. Prior to the cleanup of its website in 1999, the DSA included a song list featuring "The Internationale," the worldwide anthem of communism and socialism. Another song on the site was "Red Revolution" sung to the tune of "Red Robin." The lyrics went: "When the Red Revolution brings its solution along, along, there'll be no more lootin' when we start shootin' that Wall Street throng. ..." Another song removed after WorldNetDaily's expose was "Are You Sleeping, Bourgeoisie?" The lyrics went: "Are you sleeping? Are you sleeping? Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie. And when the revolution comes, We'll kill you all with knives and guns, Bourgeoisie, Bourgeoisie."
In the last three years, the Progressive Caucus has been careful to moderate its image for mainstream consumption.
"The members of the Progressive Caucus share a common belief in the principles of social and economic justice, non-discrimination and tolerance in America and in our relationships with other countries," the group's statement of purpose explains.
Most of the members of the Progressive Caucus, including Pelosi, opposed authorizing the war on Iraq. In fact, most Democrats in the House opposed the war resolution. House Minority Leader Richard Gephardt and 81 other House Democrats supported the move.
"I have seen no evidence or intelligence that suggests that Iraq indeed poses an imminent threat to our nation." Pelosi said in voting against the resolution. "If the administration has that information, they have not shared it with the Congress."
The latest issue of the liberal New Republic bemoans Pelosi's ascendancy to top leadership in her party because of her extreme left positions, calling the Democrat's position "dangerous."
"The ideological vacuum atop the post-Sept. 11 Democratic Party will inevitably be filled," the New Republic said in its trademark TRB column. "And, if it is filled by Nancy Pelosi and Dennis Kucinich, the United States will no longer be a 50-50 nation; it will be a 40-60 nation for a generation."
Pelosi, 62, last year was elected by her Democratic colleagues to be the House Democratic Whip – making her the highest-ranking woman in the U.S. Congress even before her expected rise to the role of House minority leader. She also serves on the House Intelligence Committee.
Pelosi represents a liberal congressional district, taking in most of San Francisco. Her votes against the resolution authorizing the use of force in Iraq and in support of such domestic initiatives as needle exchange programs for AIDS sufferers may not be far out of step with her district constituency. But some suggest the nation's pulse may be another matter.
Pelosi was 47 before she won her first election, after raising five children with her businessman husband, Paul. But she has been involved in politics all her life. Her father was a New Deal congressman from Maryland and later the mayor of Baltimore. Her brother also served as Baltimore's mayor. She was hand-picked to run for Congress by the dying Rep. Sala Burton, whose seat Pelosi won in a special election in 1987.
She has never lost an election.

Progressive Caucus which is linked to the Democratic Socialists of America. Communism is a form of Socialism. This information was found and researched at Worldnetdaily in an article they did on November 11, 2002. What are these Progressive Caucus members true goals and agenda for this country. 2) David Marsh is getting the names of the 50 members of the United States House of Representatives who are card carrying members of the Communist/ Socialist Party for display here on this site. I don't hate any person, but I feel strongly that they should be an open book when they run for office. I don't hide my Christianity, and they should not hide their Communist beliefs. Let the voters pick what they want. What I do get upset about is the cooersion of the Communist. I do not enjoy them hiding in back rooms wanting to rape me of my assets in violation of Scripture, without telling the untrained people what they are all about. Communist believe they have the right to turn all of social order on its head for their agenda, including killing people who stand in their way ("The Communist Manifesto," p. 225). They believe in communal marriage ("The Communist Manifesto," p. 240). They teach the family relationship is nothing ("The Communist Manifesto," p. 222). They think they have the right to redistribute population for production purposesor whatever reason pleases the State ("The Communist Manifesto," p. 224). These people are terrorists to everything that is Christian. Gene Chapman.
As for today, we had a new contact with Bernard. He is a We The People coordinator from Asheville, North Carolina, and he wants to help out in driving the rv from Greenville, South Carolina to Durham, North Carolina. He also wants to pull togehter the Libertarian and Patriot communities from Knoxville, Tennessee to Greenville, South Carolina to have me speak to the groups. I've suggested that Caesar's Head peak, where I used to go pray all the time when I was back in Bible College would be a perfect place for me to speak to the groups.
A young man took several pictures of me at the Mississippi River Bridge today. He is a Christian and expressed an interest in following the MARCH. I passed out all but one flier today, as I marched. We'll have to make copies tomorrow. Please call all the media you can. The press is our pulpit. respectfully, Gene.
I'm at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up interviews. My phone number is 601-446-6311 rm. 146. Gene.
"The National Enquirer" has just been contacted. Gene.
We are mmaking contacts with "The Nation Enquier" this afternoon.
David Marsh reporting on behalf of Gene Chapman. I just spoke to Nita McCann of the Natchez Democrat, the newspaper in Netchez, Mississippi. I asked her if she had received the messages and e-mail from Fred Smart regarding Gene's march. She said they had, she also said they were very busy and a little short staffed. I told her that she could find information about Gene on his websites and also she could see copies of the articles they did in the Polk County Enterprise and the Town Talk newspapers. She said she would check them out. I will follow up with an e-mail. Anyone wishing to contact her or her paper can do so at this phone number and e-mail: 601-445-3554 (City Editor, Nita McCann) email@example.com 601-445-3549 (Community Editor: Joan Grandy) firstname.lastname@example.org, Toll Free number: 1-888-878-9101, http://www.natchezdemocrat.com In God's time and wisdom will they cover the story.

She shared how that just looking at me made her want to break down and start crying. What she was experiencing is the power of God off my life, at that juncture in time. I can't tell you how humbling it is when someone tells you that your presense puts them under conviction to a point of wanting to cry. I'm glad to know my life is having a positive impact for the Lord, but I want everyone to understand that I am just flesh and blood. I could fail God 3 minutes from now and lose my testimony. I never attacked her sin; she knew and confessed it to me of her own free will. My life spoke to her under the hand of God and in the power of His Spirit. What is imperative is that we all stay focused on he whose testimony is not under the swayful power of the flesh.
The point I want to make is that God doesn't care about numbers in marches. God can make a rock praise Him or sweep the earth of all flesh with the wind of his nostrils. God cares about us being real and honest. It is this power of God on the TAX HONESTY MOVEMENT that will change America. You don't need Gene Chapman to free America from TAX SIN. You need to do your own fasting. Do your own authentic walk with God, and God will "hear from heaven and heal our land" (II Chronicles 7:14). respectfully, Gene.

She is brain washed into thinking she is going to go to Hell when she dies because she can't stop the thoughts of wanting to be with a woman. I directed her to Ephesians 2:8-9. I explained to this hurting soul that we are not saved from hell based on what we do or do not do. Salvation is "not of yourselves," as Ephesians 2:8-9 conveys. It is "not of works." Yes, homosexuality is a signal to believers that something in that life is not quite right with the peace of God. But we are not to condemn these pain ridden people. We are to offer them light and hope in Christ Jesus. The woman at the well was not condemned by Jesus for her adultery; she was admonished: "Go and sin no more." I say to those in bondage to homosexuality, pornography, drunkeness, etc., like Jesus would, "Go and sin no more." We all know we will sin in the future on this earth, but as we look to the raised Jesus and the future prospect of eternal life with him in heaven, we will begin to purify ourselves, the Bible teaches.
I find cool showers, as opposed to warm baths, cuts down my lust issues. I come from a family of men who have tremendous sexual drives. The wives talk openly of the price of being married to us Chapman men. My experiments are to not only take cooler showers, but also to keep my eyes guarded from watching sexual images on television and looking too long at pretty girls. Fasting helps build the discipline to turn from the flesh for the spiritual benefits that clearly outweigh the other. But returning from a fast can give you lustful feelings that can put you over the edge, if you are not mindful of the issues. Gandhi wrote about his problem with lust at great length, and I would suggest him for practical instruction on lust issues. My conclusion: Have faith is Jesus to carry you, 'by faith alone," into the next life; don't concern yourself with daily sins sending you to hell; keep your eyes on the skys; learn what tactics keep your body holy before the Lord; talk about your concerns with Christian pastors, etc. Sexual issues bathe our country. If one person is offended by your line of questioning, just go to some pastor who isn't. respectfully, Gene Chapman, Minister of Christ.
That Norfed money is great for tips. They like it, and it opens the door to talk about Norfed.
I stopped for about 30 minutes and spoke to a pastor of a little a Baptist Church on the route. He is building a new addition onto his church and also pastors in Monroe, Louisiana. I think I remember him telling me he used to ba a biker, and so he ministers to alot of regular people, prison inmates, etc. He and his local congragation have been praying about starting a Christian School; I handed him my 4 page flier, including the sermon, "God vs. The Tenth Plank of The Communist Manifesto." I smiled and said, "There is the answer to your prayers." I was illuding to the fact that Public Schools are the topic of that sermon and that God wants our children educated in the greenhouse of God, not the desert of State.
I made my way down the road a few more miles and had lunch on the grass. Someone called the Sheriff, so they came to see why I was resting my head, after my meal. I gave the deputy a copy of the flier and discussed the Communism we are fighting. He said he would make copies of the flier and pass them out at church.
Then, I ended up at a home of a notary public. She had several 35 to 45 year old daughters and friends eating under their car port. I sat there and was fed and refreshed for the next 2 hours. As many as 3 of them may join We The People. Fred has the contacts in his possession and spoke to the mother on the phone. They are all interested in We The People, as is Tony, who came and carried me in to Jonesville at 5 pm CT.
The Highway Patrol and Sheriff's Office will not let me camp in the area I was marching toward tonight. You see, the whole area (for 25 miles) is a swamp, with water on both sides of the road. They insisted that aligators, snakes, etc. would not leave me alone in the tent for the night. Oh well, I guess I'll have to suffer here in the motel room with my air conditioning tonight.
I actually feel freer to sit and talk to people when there is no rv to keep me paced for the TAX MARCH. Gandhi walked very slowly, house to house, when he did the SALT MARCH. I guess there is really no reason to hurry; We The People may double in size by the time I get to Washington D.C. at this pace.
I'll be marching to Ferriday, Louisiana tomorrow and on to Natchez, Mississippi the next day. respectfully, Gene.
David Marsh reporting on behalf of Gene. Looks like he has had some interesting visitors to his website. Here they are listed: cftcfw.cftc.gov 188.8.131.52 (The Commodities Futures Trading Commission) wdcsun24.usdoj.gov 184.108.40.206 (U.S. Dept. of Justice). Appears the Govt. or Govt. workers are busy keeping tabs on Gene. Let us keep him in our prayers to hope God is watching over him while he is on our march without any support with him right now. Let us hope and pray some drivers start showing up. All in God's time.
Man walking across U.S., claims tax system wrong
By Carita Jordan The Town Talk
LEESVILLE Gene Chapman stopped in central Louisiana on his tax
march across America to Washington, D.C. to share his message about this
nations unfair taxing system.
This former truck driver has a walking ministry, where he wears
dhoti-style garments similar to those worn by Mahatma Gandhi.
Chapmans goal of walking 20 miles each day is sometimes slowed when
he stops to share his story. But he says he makes each mile counts as he
spreads his message about how the Internal Revenue Service is unfairly
Chapman was featured on Thursday on radio station KJAE on Thursday in
Leesville where he explained his protest against the IRS.
(The government is) moving from a Judo-Christian way of taxing to a
Communist-Manifesto way of taxing, said the former truck driver.
(The government) have got us all on a treadmill.
Chapman's march on Washington is scheduled to be completed near Labor
Day. His effort is part of the We the People movement.
The self-proclaimed minister said the current method of taxation
isnt aligned with biblical teachings. He referenced Exodus 10:3, How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me.
Chapman said he joined the movement against taxation in April in Austin, Texas.
Where is my tax liability in the law specifically? He factiously asked the IRS on the radio.
(The government is) turning the entire nation into a nation of renters, Chapman said about homeowners paying taxes on property they already own.

Tony, the man in Pineville, Louisiana, where we are to park the rv tomorrow, told Fred and me on the phone just now that the next 50 miles to Jonesville, Louisiana have nothing but open ground -- no motels or rv parks. This could get interesting. Tune in tomorrow -- same bat time, same bat channel. Gene.
The TAX MARCH continues to build awareness, both in the press and in the movement, as well. A county coordinator was born this morning for We The People Congress, after Fred and I got on the phone with him. He will be running St. Bernard's Parish, ten minutes outside of New Orleans. That's a state coordinator and a county coordinator that have now come out of the TAX MARCH ON WASHINGTON.
We also know that the article in the July 4, 2003 edition of the Alexandria newspaper brought in several hundred hits on genechapman.blogspot.com, and it wasn't even the site listed in the article. We The People got a mention in the article too. I expect Irwin Schiff, Joe Banister, Norfed.org, Thurston Bell -- everybody -- got some traffic out of that story. It had 38,000 readers across Louisiana on a holiday.
I'm off to buy a cell phone, etc. Gene.
"Stanley Scoop" twice today. Gene. Thanks Rick.

The Town Talk (Alexandria/ Pineville, LA) news article, Mahatma Gandhi, Christian Ministry, LET MY PEOPLE GO, exodus10-3.org, TAX MARCH ON WASHINGTON, WE THE PEOPLE CONGRESS, Irwin Schiff, Joe Banister, libertydollar.org, thurston bell, larkin rose, NORFED.org, Congressman Mike Burgess, Senator Kay Bailey Huchison.
I've asked for some little note of how much money has been raised for the Dick Simkanin Legal Defense Fund, so we know how much more needs to be raised to get to the $100,000 goal that they asked for on his site. We're all happy to give, but nobody is getting any news on his situation. We need news to promote the fund raising, it's pretty well agreed. To date, $1,400 has been pleged from the webathon we did here on genechapman.blogspot.com. And two other TAX HONESTY MOVEMENT leaders approached their contacts after joining in our fund raising effort. So I'm very pleased that we were able to contribute from here.
Doug Kenline will be coming out to Pineville, Louisiana to pick up the rv when I get nearer to Atlanta, Georgia, where Doung will be my driver. I have a driver follow me in the rv, as I march on Washington, when possible.
I'll also be buying a back pack and a bed roll tomorrow, as the march will go on foot for the next few states, it appears. respectfully, Gene.
If elected, I would blog each day to explain my expenditures for my office. And I would also blog my votes and expenditures that I made for the people of The United States each day. I like it so far. Gene.
I can run, as a matter of conscience and practicality, neither as a Republican nor Democrat. That makes me either a Libertarian or an Independent.
It would demand participation from those who read this site on a regular basis and feel a connectedness with my effort.
My clothing could be both an asset to put me strongly in the minds of the voters as well as a detraction to be scorned by the less educated.
Any Ideas? Just musing. Gene.
In our examination of Scripture for today, Jesus talks with Peter during an effort by the tax collector to get tax money from the Son of God. In Matthew 17:24-26 we read, "And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute [(ie. tribute: Greek word -- didrachmon, a double drachma)] money came to Peter, and said, Doth your master pay tribute? (vs. 25) He sayeth, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom [(ie. custom: Greek word -- telos: an impost or levy)] or tribute? of their own children? or of strangers? (vs. 26) Peter sayeth unto him, Of strangers. Jesus sayeth unto him, Then are the children free."
Notice that the custom of the day, according to the discussion was that "strangers" (vs. 25) were the ones taxed. A 'stanger' here is the Greek word, allotrois. This word means, "foreign" or "not akin." If you notice the geographical location of Isreal, it doesn't take long to realize that the country is at the center of land trade routes between three continents -- Africa, Europe and Asia. Solomon made much of his great wealth on these tolls and excise taxes on foreign travellers and/ or traded goods that were imposed upon the traders (strangers) who crossed Isreal during his time, and these foreign travelling businessmen were still crossing the Holy Land in the time of Jesus and the apostles. And so in Matthew 17:26, Jesus tells Peter that he was wrong to tell the tax collectors that Jesus paid tolls and excise taxes to cross Israel.
These were tolls on foreign travellers and excise taxes on goods that were being taken in Matthew 17. And so Jesus rightly said to Peter in verse 26, "Then are the children free."
The question I was asking of the IRS and DOJ in Austin, Texas, during the Austin Death Fast was in the same line: "Where is my tax liability in the law?" If I am legally taxable, then tax me. I'll pay it. But if I am not taxed under law, "Then are the children free."
But Jesus then shocks us all in Matthew 17:27. "Lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: take that and give unto them for me and thee." Jesus tells Peter to go get some money to cover the toll out of the mouth of a fish. Christ's primary concern, above legality, was that the tax collectors not be offended from Christ. We must make sure that we do not offend either, if at all possible.
This is why you constantly hear me telling the Government to take everything I own. I'm not out to offend them. They can have every dime I've ever earned. If America were not a Christian Republic, I'd probably pay the taxes they want from me, eventhough they are illegally imposed, as the entire tax code is at the very least "void for vaigness."
And in America, unlike Isreal in the time of Jesus, We The People are We The Caesars, as I discussed in my sermon, "Who Is Caesar?" Here in America, I have an obligation to rule collectively with the other 290 million Americans over my government, in 'equity' (Proverbs 11:1, Psalm 99:4), under the hand of God, in this unique form of "Christian Republic," as Benjamin Franklin called it. If I get to court, I'm not gonna fight to stay out of prison. I want to go to jail for as long as possible, for my time in jail becomes a testament against immoral governance. Thus, I do my duty to be Caesar in America from a prison cell. In or out of prison, I am Caesar, and I will rule my nation according to the voice God grants me. I pray you other Caesars will do your duty to rule, as well.

Thanks for all the brain storming. I used to be a Driver Advisor to the President of J. B. Hunt Transport, and I can tell you that the way you are approaching this matter is just the kind of thing that is greatly appreciated by people who make big decisions, like Kirk Thompson. They call it, "cutting up the water mellon," in a board room. The idea is to get the problem cut down to managable sizes, so people can swallow pieces until the whole water mellon is eaten (ie. whole problem is resolved).
To address your proposal, I am not in contact with 350,000 people in the TAX HONESTY MOVEMENT. I am in contact with a few thousand at best, and that may be a stretch. When I'm on the web daily, we get maybe 300 or 400 hits, tops. When I'm gone for a few days, it drops to 150 sometimes, so please don't get the idea that I'm communicating with the whole movement directly. My understanding is the We The People Congress has about 53,000 contacts. Irwin Schiff may have made 300,000 contacts over the years. That is where I'm coming from.
Concerning the building of an official church/ religious movement for the Government to play with, I have no desire to walk in the Government's pathway, set up for us to follow their rules on ministries for a couple of reasons. One, I like decentralized financial arrangements in what we are trying to do. And, two, I want the Govenment to arrest me and lock me up as long as possible. You see, filling the jails with honorable people is the only way I feel we are gonna resolve the tax issues in America. And I want neither a big stash of cash for the Government to steal at some point, nor do I want to play by their rules.
Just the other day, I was on the phone with Fred Smart and a man in a movement who saw that $80 million organization raped of its assets in a day by the Government. I want no possessions. This was the strength of Gandhi; The British could not destroy him because he had nothing but his life to be taken from him. And if they killed him, he became a martyr. So what could they do but hear him? No, my voice is all I have to offer and all I desire to leave in this world. If I can direct a few people to direct payment to a worthy cause here and there, I've done my calling. I need no buildings with my name on them to be happy. And I need no possessions that can rust and be corrupted in this world.
I took a vow of simplicity about two years ago. I am contemplating a vow of poverty and celibacy for the future, just as Gandhi did. There is no need for me to possess or run anything that has great possessions on hand. My presumed weakness is my strength.
Imagine how the Government will play with We The People Congress and its legal defense fund, if they choose. We are fighting Communism in our own Government. And Communism doesn't care about the rule of law when doing its longterm mission. It sweeps the rights of the individual to the side for what it thinks to be the greater good -- total domination of the country. Any person or organization which thinks it will 'build bigger barns' (Luke 12:18) in a Communist system, such as the one we are fighting in America, will be sadly destroyed in the future, based on all my studies. Our strength is in the character of our people and their willingness to suffer in prison, in my humble opinion.
P.S. Remember that the Government, taking away the incentive to work beyond that needed to live, is why Communist Russia fell. Without the right to enjoy the 'fruits of our labor' (Proverbs 31:31 and Eccl. 3:13), society falls apart. The right to possess wealth is part of liberty.
I was thinking, Mr. Simkanin still needs $98,800 taking into account the $1200 raised so far. If you could get 5000 people to give $20, you will have exceeded the goal. You need $20 from 4940 people to reach it. You said before that there are some 350,000 worldwide in the movement. If that is true, 5000 people is less than 1.5% of entire movement, and should not be hard to acheive, if you are getting the amount of hits I think you probably are. (feel free to check my math) I would also add that $20 is easier to get and doesn't require the commitment of future events. Also, while it seems obvious that even if someone doesn't have $20 they could send 5 or 10, many people will not think in those terms unless you point it out to them. 5's and 10's add up, and again they are much easier to get. I, personally, plan to send him $100 in the future, to match yours, but cannot commit to that now. However, I can commit to say $20. You see my point? Perhaps, it would also be better if you had the donations sent to you and then foward them to the defense fund daily, weekly, or whatever. People will be more motivated to give if they can see a running total. Don't ask me why, it just seems to be the case. I guess it helps them to see that they are not alone and/or that their donations are actually making a difference. Either way, in the present situation, you have no way to provide that. Not acurately anyway, some people may perhaps make anonymous donations to the fund, but be reluctant to email you and say so for obvious reasons. While I conceed that it really doesn't matter because the purpose is served anyway, people don't get to see an accurate dipiction of what's happening. For instance someone could have already made a huge donation that is reluctant to email you as I was saying before. For those, and maybe some other reasons, I think it would help for some people to see a running total. The way I see it, thousands of Telethons can't be wrong, and in every one I have ever seen, they always have the running total showing, at least periodically.
Another thing I have been meaning to point out to you, which you may already know, is that, as a "Church", Let My People Go would be automatically relieved of the requirement of filing income taxes, and you as a preacher, minister, deacon, or any other title would be free to take donations, "love gifts," from anyone without fear of government intervention. Of course so would the church, and, you as a preacher etc. would be free from filing and paying taxes unless the "church" paid you a cash salary. As a ministry, which you have, even if you don't have a "church", the same rules apply, except Let My People Go would have to file a general accounting form of the money it took in and how it was used. I might still recommend keeping much of it on hand in cash or metal just in case, but legally they would not be able to touch you or Let my people go. I realize the whole thing of registering the Church/Ministry with the IRS kind of goes against the point of movement, but it gives an undisputably legal way to solicit donations and spread the word. Religous organizations have to stay out of politics, but this movement is not political, and besides, the worst that could happen is you end up back were you are now. Incidentally, those donations would also be tax deductable, in case the person giving the money isn't quite sure yet, and is still paying taxes. By the way, if you don't understand what I am talking about, let me know. Otherwise, I would like to hear your thoughts on the idea(s), you can email them to me, or just post them on the blog.
