Update: Tomorrow at 12 noon, I begin the 58th day of fasting since April 15th. There are many who are feeling the pressure of the end of my life coming upon us. This is creating lots of interesting attempts to get me to stop the Huntsville Texas Death Fast. The resulting pressure upon me is very harsh at a time when I need peace and serinity in a dark room, as I may be meeting God face to face in a few days. If I were to end the fast without the 3,000 remaining papers being passed out, according to the vow, I would live the rest of my life in dishonor to God. If I die, I die in honor to my vow to God. If the 3,000 papers get passed out in time, I live in honor to my vow to God. If I go to help pass out the papers, I shorten my life span, and I am much too weak most of the time to even think of walking across my motel room. Going out is unthinkable under these circumstances. There can be nothing but water taken in the vow, or I dishonor the vow. I have done all I can do; it in God's hand's now. Please be kind to me in these last hours of my time on earth. I have no other options to contemplate than the ones you see above. Doing less than my vow would be to undermine the credability of everything we have all worked for here. It would be up in smoke in a moment. I shall not do that to myself or to the people who have sacrificed to get us this far. respectfully, Gene.

I plan to move to the Econo Lodge tomorrow to get near a bath tub, so I can soak in Ebsom Salts to draw out the glue type substance that oozes out of my poors. It's just about 200 yards down the service road. respectfully, Gene. Pray God will call someone to pass out the final 3,000 papers, so I can end the Huntsville Death Fast and get back on the road to Washington.
Update: My mental capacity is diminished, so Fred may be doing more of the writing on this site, as he does already on exodus10-3.org. Gene
Update: 1) I'm having trouble standing for more than 60 seconds or so. 2) Scott and his lovely wife, from NORFED, came to pass out about 1,000 papers of the 4,000 that have to be passed out before I can end the Huntsville Death Fast. Just think, there are now only about 3,000 pieces left to be passed out that stand between my life in this world and my life in the next, keeps running through my mind. There is not much left of me. Now in the 57th day of death fasting since April 15th, I'm down 66 lbs. I sent Fred pictures today, but it took all the energy I had. If we get over this hump, there shouldn't be a need to fast again for a long time. It accomplished and is accomplishing the unification needed in the movement in every area, it seems. Just 3,000 papers to go. Let's just trust God. respectfully, Gene.

Most of these donations are directly connected to this endorsement. Please pray that this Huntsville roadblock can be overcome. Five individuals showed up yesterday and passed out some 2000+ fliers. Another individual said he would be in Huntsville - in route from Houston - later this afternoon. The gentleman from Washington DC is researching plane fares and should be in Texas early in the week if everything works out. Peace and God Bless, Fred Smart
Round Table Talk: 1) I think it's day 57 of fasting since April 15th. 2) No one showed up today to pass out the final 4,000 papers here in Huntsville, Texas. 3) My blindness issue has not returned so far. 4) I drove to the post office a block away and felt like I ran a marathon, so I'm going to sleep. Gene.
Update: By cutting through the back roads of Texas, we shaved off several miles of anticipated marching to Washington D.C. It appears we have about 1,277 miles to go from Huntsville, Texas or 63 days of 20 mile marching. This puts us about 15 days ahead of schedule to be in Washington on Labor Day. Gene. Please be in prayer about helping to pass out the remaining 4,000 papers we need done for me to stop the Huntsville Death Fast and get on with the TAX MARCH ON WASHINGTON. (888-606-9379).

"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever" (Psalm 23). Amen. Gene. Friday, June 20, 2003
Daily Financial Report: Starting Balance: $1,926.61. Total Expendatures: ($2.74) Pictures. No Deposits . Ending Balance: $1,923.87. respectfully, Gene.
Update: Everytime I talk on the phone with one of the supporters of what we are doing here, my heart is blessed. I just told our man in St. Louis that, "When I see your heart, it gives me heart, and I thank you for it." Each person who comes represents about 500 copies passed out in a day, based on what I've seen. God is whiddling this thing down. respectfully, Gene.
Update: We had 5 people from Houston, Texas show up this morning to pass out the 6,500 papers that we have left to do before I can end the Huntsville Death Fast. It appears they may get 2,500 done. That will leave about 4,000 left to pass out in Huntsville, Texas. Let's pray God's will is done here. respectfully, Gene. (FYI: I've not had another episode of blindness since last night.)

Another pound is now gone. I'm at 165 lbs, down 65 lbs. since April 15th. Thursday, June 19, 2003
Round Table Talk: 1) I'm looking for God's dawn. Right now, all our people planning to come this weekend have had one problem or another getting here (from Washington D.C. and St. Louis). 2) We have a couple of gossips around the system who continue to try and spread their destructive poison, for no other reason than that I won't let them run me like their personal property. (I've always been God's preacher, not man's.) This is hurting our effort to attract the good people in some of the Texas areas, as the good Texas folks have not spoken directy with me to clear up the moral shortcomings of those who seek to punnish/ kill me in the Huntsville Death Fast. Let us remember, "The lip of truth shall be established forever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment" (Proverbs 12:19). This gossip will pass; I just hope I'm alive to see it. You teenagers who are watching me all over the world, remember that the Bible is a record of one preacher after another being murdered by a tongue that started wagging against him for foolish reasons. Those tongues may have just murdered yet another one of God's preachers here in Huntsville. Good Night, Gene. (Tomorrow at noon is day 56 of fasting since April 15th, I'm down 64 lbs. and we need people of faith to come pass out the last 6,500 papers, so I can end the Huntsville Death Fast and get on toward Washington.)

Update: 1) I am informed we have no one coming to help pass out the 6,500 papers. We need about 12 people to do the whole job in one day, as one person can pass out about 500 in a day. 2) The stickers for LET MY PEOPLE GO are on the motor home, so there should be no need to fast over lack of media coverage in the future, as we have our own coverage now. The cost was only $75.00 each for two signs, plus a bit of tax. They look really sharp! respectfully, Gene. We're ready to start moving when the papers get passed out in entirety. Please pray about your participation in the next 3 or 4 days here in Huntsville, Texas. (888-606-9379). Today is the 55th days of fasting since April 15th.

Adjustment to 20030617 Mail Donations ReportI had originally posted $20 cash from "Anonymous" mailed from Carol Stream Illinois - sent with a partial copy of Joe Banister's email requesting financial support for Gene Chapman. This was recorded in error right below another $20 cash donation. The actual amount in this envelope was $5 cash. The $2133 recorded for total deposits for June 17th was actually $2118 - $15 less than the figure noted. If there are any book keepers our accountants out there who would like to assist in keeping a very accurate record of this process I would greatly appreciate any additional help anyone can offer. Ideally, this information should be posted in a accounting program that can be pulled up and audited at anytime. I am just called to help folks out like Gene, Rose Lear, Bob Shulz and others in this movement. I don't claim to have the answers, but I appreciate the patience and support of those who have helped out in this process. Peace and God Bless, Fred Smart

Note: the $2798.25 starting and $2802.20 ending balance incorporates a $15 dollar deposit error for June 17th mail donations which is reported above. by Fred Smart 11:09 am on 20030619
Update: Paul and I got about 600 papers passed out to the good people of Huntsville, Texas, today. There are now about 6,500 left to go to break the Huntsville Death Fast and get on with THE TAX MARCH ON WASHINGTON. Let's pray I live through the night, as my body is feeling the stress of the 54th day of fastings since April 15th. I just weighed in at 166 lbs, 64 lbs. down from my 230 lb. weight on April 15th.
Update: Paul and I got maybe 200 copies of the paper passed out before I had to come in a lay down. My kidneys bagan to hurt from the 54 days of fasting I'm now in since April 15th. Nausia has since set in, but I'm gonna try to get back out with Paul this afternoon. He's out now doing a great job. I'm torn between setting the example of being in the trenches and passing the papers out myself and resting to ensure I don't injure myself; I've got 1,450 miles to march to Washington D.C. I've lost 63 lbs. since all this fasting started, and my body is feeling it, but I don't want to let you guys down by not doing my part in passing out my share of the papers. Gene.
Update: Paul Huff has arrived to help me pass out a thousand or so of the 7,100 papers. He can only stay today, but that's a start. respectfully, Gene.
Round Table Talk: I know I've been rough on some of yall in the past week plus, during the Huntsville Death Fast, and I want to explain my thinking. At Ft. Dix, I saw tactics in unifying soldiers that play a role here in the TAX HONESTY MOVEMENT. Basic training is designed to get individuals to stop looking at self preservation and into unit preservation. You see, in a war setting, the unit is the life or death of the individual, so there is no point in worrying about self -- just worry about the unit. That means, "NO MAN LEFT BEHIND." That means, 'SHARE YOUR RATIONS." That means, "PULL YOUR RANGER BUDDY OUT OF THE HOLE." Now, some of you are too accustomed to the comforts of civilian life to ever appreciate what LET MY PEOPLE GO is doing, and you will be the downfall of this movement, should it fail. Military veterans, who have been forward observers in Korea, etc., on the other hand, are made for me. This is nonviolent trench warfare, and I don't need weaklings telling me about their lawns they need to mow or the car they need to wash instead of being present in this operation. George Washington would have been in a pickle if he had to hear such talk as I've had to hear in the past days. So there you have it: We are building an army of tough nonviolent sacrificial soldiers in God's war machine on Injustice. I don't want or need the rest, as they will just slow down God's progress. respectfully, Gene.

An Individual From Washington DC Has Volunteered to Come To HoustonI just sent this to Gene..... Date: 6/17/03 10:09:29 PM Central Daylight Time From: FKSmart To: GKCCMLTD Gene: XXXXXXX XXXXXX, the individual who assisted Rose Lear in Washington DC, will be leaving on a Greyhound bus from DC at 9:30 pm tomorrow evening and will be arriving in Houston Texas at 5:30 am. The cost is $125. We are trying to configure a schedule to get him to Huntsville, but I'd actually like to have some of the folks in Houston drive David to Huntsville so they can all help you distribute the 7100 copies of your story. I will have more to share later. Peace and God Bless, Fred Smart ------------------------ The cost for this trip will not be coming out of current/past donations. It will come out of a $300 fund from Gene's own money which he set aside with me in the form of a personal check to originally fund the gas/travel expenses of the couple from Michigan that were going to drive to Huntsville. Peace and God Bless, Fred Smart

Fred keeps the details of today's breakdown of donations on exodus10-3.org. With 29 deposits, I'm just too tired to write it all down here. Maybe we can get Fred to transfer the data here too. Too many donors to write down is a good problem to have. God Bless You All, Gene.

My chest pains come and go. Same with the kidneys. I ate some ice, and it was good. The Huntsville Death Fast continues into 54 days without food since April 15th tomorrow at 12 noon.Gene.
Update: I like the broad number of donations (29) that showed up from a crossection of America today. This $2,133.00 coming from so many places means LET MY PEOPLE GO is viable and growing in strength. See exodus10-3.org for the financial details. Keep in mind that $1,400 of this money is dedicated to our major search engine advertising effort. I'll update the finances tonight before I go to bed. respectfully, Gene.
Update: No One has shown up to help me pass out the 7,100 papers, and I will not begin until they do. Someone has to be the first; it is you? Gene.

The only group I've not heard from is We The People. It's free advertising through 1,600 miles of media, folks. If you don't want it, it's your choice. respectfully, Gene.
Update: I made it through the night. Nobody has come to pass out fliers. Day 53 of my fastings begins at 12 noon CT. respectfully, Gene.

Hunstville Death Fast Update: Just to be factual for posterity, I'm having some chest pains tonight. My kidneys hurt a bit too. As we are about to enter the 53rd day for fastings since April 15th, having now lost 62 lbs, I am beginning to refer to Mahatma Gandhi as, "That Fat Guy," in my private moments. I jest, but I am quite thin. For the first time since the 40 day Austin fast, I am wondering if I shall awaken in the morning. When I worked in a hospital emergency room/ ICU at age 21, I remember the patience mostly died at 2 or 3 am, as the heart rate slows down to its slightest pace then. The End Game is upon us, but I am content to go into the arms of God. My faith in the risen Jesus is tested and sure. There is no other religion that holds a drop of water next to Christianity, and I've studied them all enough to know their flaws. Jesus is the only flawless option for heaven, I find, and I fully trust in his way. respectfully, Gene.

Our man in Taiwan is bouncing off the walls to come help me with the 7,100 copies and the TAX MARCH ON WASHINGTON. Come on buddy, we'll put you to work. respecefully, Gene.
Update: Irwin Schiff's e-mail to his people to help me out just arrived at my computer. Let's hope they get moving. respectfully, Gene.
Update: 1) Fred and I just got our ad for that major search engine off to the company for production. It could be up within 24 to 48 hours, bringing thousands of people to the exodus10-3.org site and on to all the connected sites. 2) I am unaware of the status of the LET MY PEOPLE GO banners. We may have to have more made up, if we can't find them in a day or two. 3) We are getting a story in a national 2nd Ammendment Web site for militia groups. 4) The Huntsville Death Fast continues (now fasting the 52nd day since April 15th). respectfully, Gene.

I have noticed that the LET MY PEOPLE GO movement has gone from about 8 committed people to maybe 20 in the last week, nationwide. God is blessing, slowly but surely.
Round Table Talk: Good news, the movement is beginning to unify. It's a loud and emotionally painful process, but it was needed. I expect people to be coming to Huntsville anytime to pass out the 7,100 papers, so I can end the Huntsville Death Fast. This doesn't mean we will not need another unifying fast later, but it is working, in God's plan. Even if I die in the next few days, the fast has been benificial for the over all work. Next time, people will not wait so long to come to the aid of their fellow soldier in the fight for freedom, and that is what this is about. respectfully, Gene.

II Corinthians 9:7 says, "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." I don't want people coming her to Huntsville to give to God grudging service. Stay home if you feel grudging about my work because you will just greive the Holy Spirit here, and I don't need that in my condition. I'd rather die happy in God's hands in this fast than live in the midst of people who are just going through the motions out of some presumed obligation. "Wrong People Coming To Help" The one story that keeps coming to mind on this issue of 'wrong people coming to help' these past weeks is that of Gideon. In Judges 7:5 thru 7 we read, "So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise everyone that boweth down upon his knees to drink. v.6) And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water. v.7) And the LORD said unto Gideon, By the three hundred men that lapped will I save you, and deliver the Midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place." It is wrong to bring the wrong people into the work of God that we are doing here. Those who cannot follow God's leadership by keeping in the ranks of sacrifice have no place among this work. Those who cannot stop gossip, have no place in our ranks. Those who cannot see the Divine end of this work have no place in this work. We cannot tollerate division of actions, just as Gideon, if we are to be successful in honoring God. When I see it around me, I'll send people home and turn them away, even if it costs me my life in a fast. My focus is on the face of God. Like any man, I have feet of clay. But I march on in His plan to free the nation from tyranny with those God chooses from my heart's discernment that God gave me over all these years in study of His Word and ways. I learned these things from being around the leaders of leaders, as a young preacher boy in Bible College. And I shall not turn from what I have seen works to build the largest and most productive churches and universities in American Christianity. respectfully, Gene. (Please download all of "Gene's Short Sermons" on exodus10-3.org and pass them out to every pastor of every church in your community.)
Daily Financial Report: Starting Balance: $869.88. No Deposits. Expendatures: $202.23 (One Week Motel 6 in Huntsville, Texas, Perpaid), Ending Balance: $667.65.
Round Table Talk: Our web sites are starting to be spread around among the preachers in the country. I've also noticed that theologyonline.com sent us some traffic. Last night, I e-mailed Dr. Jerry Falwell and asked that he take a look at my "Gene's Short Sermons" on the left side of exodus10-3.org to keep me going in the right theological direction. I'll also be contacting one of my old billboard ministry board members, Dr. Lee Roberson, Chancellor of Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee in the coming days, as well as Dr. Bob Jones III of Bob Jones University -- his father, Dr. Bob Jones Jr. was very supportive of my billboard work when he was alive. respectfully, Gene.
Round Table Talk: 1) Another week has been purchased here at room 257 at the Huntsville Motel 6. 2) The Huntsville Death Fast has entered the 7th day; it is the 51st day of fastings for me since April 15th. 3) We had three high school students who wanted to come from San Marcos, Texas, to pass out the 7,100 copies of the article, so I could end the death fast, but they couldn't get anyone with a car to drive them. Oh well. 4) I'm finding that I can no longer walk much more than about 50 yards at a time now without stumbling like a dunk man. It is pretty safe to say that we are in the End Game. 5) There isn't much else to say. Gene.
Good Morning: This morning, I weighed in at 169 1/2 lbs., and I'm quite dizzy and sick, so you will understand that I am not too long winded here. The fast continues. Gene.

If a 100% tax on labor is absolute slavery, cut and dried, then wouldn't it stand that a 1% tax on labor is a degree of slavery? And if property is the physical manifestation of labor, then isn't a tax on property "slavery" in it's end? And for one to impose slavery to any degree upon a free person is "andrapodistes" (I Timothy 1:10): "one who unjustly reduces free men to slavery." Right out of the Greek lexicon.
"menstealers"/ "enslavers" (I Timothy 1:10): (Greek word: andrapodistes) Those who impose a taxing of labor (i.e. property/ income tax) upon uncondemned free persons; thus, under the judgment of the Moral Law of God. "Slave" (I Corinthians 7:23): (Greek word: dulos) One whose labor and/ or benefit thereof is by force claimed by another. Christians are instructed to persue freedom from slavery: "[I]f you may be made free [from slavery (taxation of labor and/ or property)], use it rather [for the winning of souls to Christ for salvation]" (I Corinthians 7:21b).
