Day Twenty-SixToday is day twenty-six of the death fast. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
Keep praying for things. We've got a couple of people fasting in the Boston, Massachusetts area I understand. They sent me an email today. And people in Talahassee, Florida. I have a radio interview with a radio station in Los Angeles coming Monday at 11:00 AM so things are picking up. We're getting close to day thirty and I expect day thirty to be a big day because of the month significance and as we get close to day forty I expect things to pick up from there. We know that the Brokaw people are watching things there in New York City. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
I want to keep my government accountable to the citizens. The fact that I'm out here day twenty-six and no answers, nobody's cracked open a book, no Senators, no Congressmen, no IRS agents, no Treasury agents have been able to do anything. That tells me a great deal about my question. It tells me that my question is stumping people at every level of government and that's not good. And if there is no answer then that means my government is coercing money out of citizens without legal basis and that's called extortion. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
They can present me with new profound material that I haven't contemplated before, I can be shown my tax liability in the law, they can retract their challenge to my taxes, or I can leave my body on the street as a testiment against the IRS and the leaders of the nation. That's what I started with and that's what I'll end with. Listen to more here... audblog audio post

Day Twenty-FiveToday is day twenty-five of the death fast. I'm enjoying the afternoon here in the hotel room. I went out for about two and a half hours today. Sat across from the IRS. I had a couple people come up and say that they'd be out tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM for the protest. So I hope everybody will come out for that. Saturday morning at 10:00 AM there at Woodward and Parker. I talked to Fred Smart. He said that he got off the phone with Tom Brokaw's people there in New York and that they were all aware there in the office. He didn't say that he was sure that Tom Brokaw knew about it but he said all the people around him knew about it and were watching it on the internet. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
My nurse came and weighed me so I'm at 188 pounds now. Yea, 188 pounds. So I'm losing a pound a day, still. That's about the lightest I've been since high school. She rubbed some, rubbed my back you know to help my muscles. Gandhi, you know you get, I don't know if it's muscle spasms or what it is, but your muscles begin to ache a little bit as the fast procedes. And so she rubbed my calves for me and rubbed my shoulders and my back and things so that, that helped you know, to relax me. And then I fell out then and went to sleep. And so anyway, I'm resting. Right after I announced my death fast in December Irwin Schiff had a raid there I guess in February after I wrote my little letter about the death fast and said that it would be Irwin that would be involved in helping me. And of course I wrote an open letter to Larken Rose here a week or so ago or three or four days ago and now here he's being raided. Ya'll better be careful hanging around me. Interesting coincidences around me. Let's hope the IRS raids me. I'd sure like to get an answer to this question. I sure appreciate all the work you guys are doin'. Maybe we'll get an answer. Our founding fathers pledged their lives and their fortunes to one another. And I'm pledging my life and my fortune to you folks. And I hope you'll pledge your life and your fortune to me. And together we'll be able to overthrow what is clearly a tyranny in the scripture. The only place Jesus picked up a weapon in the entire Bible was over the issue of extortion. And that's what we have here if you study that word out. It was in the temple and with the money changers. I'm not a violent man and I don't propose violence but I understand that Christians have options in how to deal with these things and I hope that you'll help me to overthrow this evil in the name of Jesus Christ. Day Twenty-FourWell I think it's May 8 Thursday and it'd be day twenty-four of the death-fast. I'm back in the motel room. I spent about three hours out on the street today there in front of the IRS building between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Last night we had a really good live interview on the public access here, Channel Sixteen. One of the more professional people. He used to be a city councilman actually and had me on his program for about fifteen minutes and I got to make a presentation. We had some people call in and say that they would be out to the protest Saturday at 10:00 AM as we do every week there at the corner of Woodward and Parker here in Austin. So I was delighted to hear about that. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
I think Saturday night the Alex Jones program is going to begin looping my program over and over. There's about five different people they say there that all kinda work together when there's and important issue as they believe this one is then they try to convince everybody to let them bump their programming and let that important programming go through. So my little twenty-six minute interview with the Alex Jones people may actually play many, many times. They said they're just going to loop it over and over and over. So it'll be a pretty significant presentation on public access here in the next week or so. So I expect some dramatic changes in the responses and media participation after Saturday night. Did we ever get our connections to Tom Brokaw and all those guys set up? See right hand column. Gene asks everybody to please call Tom Brokaw. Listen to more here... audblog audio post

Day Twenty-ThreeIt's day twenty-three of the fast. I've probably got about three or four weeks left to live. Sittin' here in the room and conserving energy. We spent two hours out on the street today. I did one interview for the radio here in Austin. And I'm due down to a public access tonight for a live TV show. I'm supposed to be on Alex Jones next Tuesday I think or something like that. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
We'll have a Saturday rally at 10:00 AM just like we did last week. We had twenty-three people last week and I'm lookin' forward to a bigger crowd this week and hopefully it will build. There's a guy here, such irony, the manager of the hotel where I'm staying. His father actually travelled with Mahatma Gandhi. And he says that if this were India there would be two or three thousand people out there fasting with me right now. So there you go. The difference between the culture in India and the culture in America. But I'm happy with twenty-three, I'm happy with one. I didn't do this to get a crowd, I did it to make a one man stand and if people want to stand with me they're welcome to and if they don't then that's fine too. So there's my position on it. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
I want to have the rule of law in America and not the rule of the whims of men. I talked actually to Kay Bailey Hutchison's Austin office today and of course they knew who I was. They were aware of me. Supposedly somebody from Washington is supposed to call me but, you know, if it's like Congressman Burgess' office it'll probably just be a dead end you know. But I'm not too optimistic about responsive government at this point. Twenty-three days of no answers pretty well makes the case of unresponsive government. Listen to more here... audblog audio post

Day Twenty-TwoIt's day twenty-two of the death fast. I'm here back in the motel. I spent about an hour sitting out across from the IRS building today. Made several phone calls. I talked to John Kelso from the Austin American Statesman. He says that he's very disturbed that the IRS has not answered my question or even cracked open a book. And he agreed that every day I'm out here that's proof positive of unresponsive government. He says that he's wanting to do an update on me so I expect that will happen here in the next few days. I talked to my Congressman's office this morning. They tried to put me into some voice mail. They're not letting me talk to Stacy the tax expert there. Evidently someone's been calling their office so much they're perturbed about responding to me now so I just gave up on that. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
I'm supposed to do a TV interview tomorrow night. Then four or five TV interviews here in the last few days. I was real happy with the TV interview that went on last night on cable access. They had about fifteen minutes of just me talking to the people. I was suprised at how well it was done. It really communicated everything. My nurse weighed me today. I'm at 190 pounds. So I'm down 40 pounds officially. Now I'm only losing about a pound a day instead of two pounds a day like I was. So getting me rested is helping to prolong things. I'm supposed to be on KTSA today about 4:30 also I understand. They're wanting to cover me today again down in San Antonio. Listen to more here... audblog audio post

Day Twenty-OneToday is day twenty-one of the fast. I've taken the day off as far as sitting out in the trees. The nurse has been wanting me to relax more and rest so they put me in a motel and I'm enjoying Opra Winfrey right now as a matter of fact. The inventor of the Liberty Dollar visited me today, I forget his name (Bernard von NotHaus) but he came by and visited with me. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
They'll have some interesting TV next week. Probably a lot of it'll hit a week from today or a week from tomorrow as far as the Alex Jones thing and two or three of the other programs. Tonight I'm supposed to be on TV probably one of the best presentations I've had yet. I think it's an hour long program, a thirty minute or an hour long program tonight that's dedicated to my work and me and the fast. I'm more committed to being a martyr at this point than anything else. I'm here to lay on the alter and let God make the decisions like it says in Genesis 22. So life or death, no big deal at this point. Listen to more here... audblog audio post

Day TwentyToday is day twenty of the death fast. Sunday. I'm in for the day. They've put me into a hotel room here within a few blocks of the fast site. We didn't get the $1200 we needed for that special apartment but we're spending, it's actually a little cheaper to go to this motel. But we got two weeks of that money. So we'll just see what else happens you know on the donation part. But anyway I'm at least out of the weather a little more. We had Alex Jones's people (Mike Hanson and crewman) come out and interview me today and that was quite interesting. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
Twenty three people showed up. A total of twenty five actually altogether. But twenty three there immediately there in the morning. You never know what numbers are going to show up for anything. I'll be on KTSA tomorrow about 5:00 PM maybe. I'm supposed to be on at all different times of the day there but generally 5:00 PM is the time they want me on I think. The press has really picked up since Thursday it's just bang, bang, bang one after the other. So there you go. Listen to more here... audblog audio post
I think we have proof positive from twenty days out here on the death fast and seemingly real efforts from various people in the IRS to try to answer the question without actually crackin' open a book or anything that we have proof positive of an unresponsive government here. If a 100% tax on labor is absolute slavery, cut and dried, then wouldn't it stand that a 1% tax on labor is a degree of slavery? And if property is the physical manifestation of labor, then isn't a tax on property "slavery" in it's end? And for one to impose slavery to any degree upon a free person is "andrapodistes" (I Timothy 1:10): "one who unjustly reduces free men to slavery." Right out of the Greek lexicon.
"menstealers"/ "enslavers" (I Timothy 1:10): (Greek word: andrapodistes) Those who impose a taxing of labor (i.e. property/ income tax) upon uncondemned free persons; thus, under the judgment of the Moral Law of God. "Slave" (I Corinthians 7:23): (Greek word: dulos) One whose labor and/ or benefit thereof is by force claimed by another. Christians are instructed to persue freedom from slavery: "[I]f you may be made free [from slavery (taxation of labor and/ or property)], use it rather [for the winning of souls to Christ for salvation]" (I Corinthians 7:21b).
